§ 1. General Provisions

These terms and conditions set out the rules for purchasing unique handicrafts and artistic objects via the Pastelia Vintage Art website.

All products offered on the site are unique works, handmade or artistically restored, giving them individual and irreplaceable character.

§ 2. Returns (Right of Withdrawal — 14 days)

A consumer client has the right to withdraw from the purchase agreement for standard (ready-made) products without giving any reason within 14 calendar days from the date of receiving the shipment.

The condition for accepting a return is that the product is sent back unchanged, showing no signs of use, and securely packaged for transport.

The return shipping cost is covered by the Buyer.

§ 3. Custom Order Products and Personalized Gifts

In the case of products made to special order, personalized, or modified according to the Client's specifications (custom gifts), the production process and agreement become binding from the moment project details and assumptions are being established.

No right of return: In accordance with Article 38(3) of the Consumer Rights Act, the right to withdraw from a distance contract (returning goods within 14 days) DOES NOT APPLY to contracts where the subject is a non-prefabricated item, manufactured to the consumer's specifications, or serving their individualized needs.

From the moment design discussions begin and work commences, cancellation of the order or its return after delivery is entirely excluded.

§ 4. Complaints and Transport Liability

The Seller is responsible for the product's conformity with the contract at the time of dispatch.

Transport liability: Full liability for damage to the shipment occurring during transit rests with the courier company (carrier).

In the event of visible damage to the package or discovery of damaged contents upon opening, the Client must immediately draw up a damage report in the presence of the courier (or report it to the carrier within the required timeframe). The damage report is the sole basis for pursuing compensation from the shipping company.

Exclusion of liability: Complaints to the Seller are not accepted for mechanical damage resulting from the carrier's fault (damage in transit) or damage caused by improper use, storage, cleaning, dropping, or other accidental events caused by the Client after receiving the shipment.

Due to the nature of handicraft and retro/vintage styling, certain imperfections, natural material structure (e.g., wood), texture typical of handicraft, or intentional aging effects are deliberate artistic features of the product and do not constitute grounds for complaint.

§ 5. Final Provisions

In matters not regulated by these terms, the provisions of the Civil Code and the Consumer Rights Act shall apply.
